Frequently Ask Question

Welcome to Emcura Medical & Immediate Care! Since 2013, we’ve been Southeast Michigan’s choice for healthcare that feels like family because we are family. Whether you need a quick stitches-fix, a primary care check-up, or workplace health services, we’ve got you covered with a doctor-led team that puts you first.

Think of us as “Walk-In Primary Care.” While hospital-owned and ER owned clinics often act as “feeders” to drive expensive business to their ERs, we do the opposite. We provide more services onsite—like IV therapy, X-rays, and complex procedures—to keep you out of the ER and save you time and money.

Walk-In primary care means we also handle much more than a regular clinic.  We can diagnose deeper issues, draw blood, and manage more severe illnesses than other clinics.  This our personalized approach saves you time and can keep you out of the ER!

Please call 911 or head to the ER for life-threatening emergencies, such as:

  • Chest pain or pressure.
  • Severe shortness of breath.
  • Stroke symptoms (slurred speech, facial droop).
  • Major trauma or uncontrolled bleeding.
  • Seizures or loss of consciousness.

We’ve been family-owned and physician-led since 2013. Because we aren’t a giant corporation, your care is personal. We offer a wider scope of care under one roof—digital X-rays, labs, wound care, and splinting—so you don’t get hit with a secondary ER bill for services we could have done right here.

Yes! We provide urgent care for children (typically 6 months and older), teens, and seniors. For infants under 6 months, please call us first for guidance. Note: Our long-term Primary Care is reserved for those 16 and older.

We can evaluate many urgent concerns for expecting moms, but for severe pain or bleeding, please head to the ER immediately.
