Wellness by Emcura is our program which make integrative medicine and functional medicine accessible to everyone! Once you identify your program, make an appointment with any of our providers. Your initial visit includes an intake, identifying your goals, and ordering your labs (self pay with Emcura or through others). You will then make an appointment with our dedicated Wellness provider to discuss. These appointment are 20 minutes long and we discuss 1 major problem per visit (or this is up to the providers’ discretion as some items are related). Subsequent visits are with Wellness providers where changes and tracked and trended. In summary:

Plan for 20 minutes for your initial intake and either in person or via telemedicine. YOU MUST COMPLETE AN INTAKE FORM PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. Our intake providers then review your goals, history, medications/supplements, and order labs or imaging as appropriate. Labs may be ordered, or you will then meet with our wellness specialists (Dr Supak Sookasikon, Dr Jenniefer Ruel or Dr Manish Kesliker) for your initial plan. Once we meet, you’ll leave with a clear next-step plan.
Yes — for appropriate follow-ups, results reviews, program check-ins, and medication management when an in-person exam isn’t required.
Absolutely. We’ll share results and plans at your request and coordinate care. Our program is ideally designed for those who are primary care through Emcura as your copays will be cheaper as well.

While we aren’t a psychiatric clinic, we recognize that mental health is tied to physical health. We screen for the impact of stress, cortisol, and hormone imbalances on your mood and can refer you to specialized partners for therapy or coaching.
Typically, we re-test every 3 to 6 months while we are actively adjusting a plan (like BHRT or thyroid meds). Once you are in a “maintenance” phase, we usually drop back to every 6 to 12 months
Yes — when clinically appropriate after a detailed history, symptom review, and labs. We individualize dosing and monitor regularly for safety and efficacy.
Risks and benefits vary by individual. We screen for contraindications, discuss current evidence, and monitor labs and symptoms on a structured schedule.
TSH, Free T4, Free T3, and — when indicated — thyroid antibodies, plus a review of iron status, iodine/selenium intake, symptoms, and medication response.
